Alongside Lando will be another Calrissian: Lando’s daughter.
How do we know this? Well, according to Reddit user Termiriblagg1, who says he was an extra on the set of Episode IX; actress Naomi Ackie plays Lando’s daughter, Veranda Calrissian or Vera for short. The family that fights together, right?
For those unfamiliar with Ackie, she is a relatively new face in Hollywood who has been mostly working in British film and television. Receiving critical acclaim for her portrayal of Anna in 2017’s Lady Macbeth, she definitely proves she has the acting chops to make for a great addition to the Star Wars franchise. This on top of the fact that she is (possibly) playing such a well-known character’s daughter will make her even more popular in the eyes of fans.
