Neil Gaiman Teases American Gods Season Two Trailer

Hype for the second season of STARZ’s American Gods seems to be underway. With cast members and novel writer, Neil Gaiman himself set to appear at NYCC, some of the actors have already been to DragonCon and some are booked for Comic-Con in South Africa. Gaiman recently took to Twitter to let fans know that there is a trailer for the second season and he’s seen it. Though he goes on to describe the trailer briefly, he also reveals that he in no way knows when it will be released to the public, but we can all hope it’s soon. Maybe, even at New York Comic Con’s panel?

Gaiman has teased previously that the second season would be darker than the first and although season one was certainly avant-garde in many way, I feel it was pretty dark. Then again, the season one finale ended with the plant-life and water supply drying out, so I am imagining that this will cause a lot of deaths. The poor humans in American Gods, always suffering over the war brewing between the old gods and the new. But, that is why we tune in to watch; American Gods should be premiering sometime early 2019 – I’ll keep my fingers crossed!
