    Hello, GOD? It’s me, Satan.

That’s just me having a little fun but if you’re Benedict Cumberbatch, it actually is true when it comes to Neil Gaiman’s Good Omens, set to premiere on Amazon Prime. The actor will be voicing the Devil himself, who will appear as a “400-foot high” CGI creature, showing up in episode six. No worries, we have the Voice of God, by Frances McDormand.

The live-action adaptation of Gaiman’s and Terry Pratchett’s 1990 novel will drop all six episodes on Prime on Friday, May 31st, announced at TCA recently. For those unfamiliar with the story, the series stars Michael Sheen and David Tennant, who portray an angel and demon. The two form an unlikely friendship while living on earth and for the real treat, Jon Hamm will be playing the Archangel Gabriel. We all need this show now.

Aziraphale (Sheen) and Crowley (Tennant) will work together to stop the end of the world, all while losing the Antichrist, who is an eleven-year-old boy who doesn’t realize he’s supposed to bring on Armageddon. Just like Gaiman’s other live-action adaptation, American Gods which premieres its second season on March 10th on Starz (March 11th on Prime); Good Omens is a modern take on mythology that looks like a great time, while also showcasing poignant messages.

Are you excited for Good Omens? Let us know!
