An animated series based on the video game Splinter Cell is coming from Netflix and Ubisoft. Derek Kolstad has been added as the writer and executive producer for the series. Kolstad is known for being the writer of the John Wick franchise. The Splinter Cell series has received a two-season, sixteen-episode order for Netflix.
Splinter Cell first emerged in 2002. It follows Sam Fisher, former U.S. Navy SEAL; after he’s recruited by the NSA to work for the Third Echelon. Fisher must engage in black ops mission and use his stealth and military tactics to carry out his missions.
