Netflix’s ‘You‘ has promoted Saffron Burrows to series regular. Joining Burrows is Dylan Arnold and Tati Gabrielle as series regulars. The Netflix series has added new faces – in fact, a ton of them! They are Michael McManus, Shannon Chan-Kent, Ben Mehl, Chris O’Shea, Christopher Sean, Bryan Safi, Mackenzie Astin, Ayelet Zurer, and Jack Fisher. Of course, in the series lead roles are Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti.
It’s described that Burrows, as Love’s (Pedretti) mom Dottie will look to shower her daughter and new grandchild with love as the death of her son in season two.
New Characters
Arnold will play Theo – a college student with a strained relationship with his stepdad. Theo is described as “wise and perceptive”, but he’s also troubled. He has a habit of getting involved in his loved ones’ problems. As a result, he drowns himself with drugs.
Gabrielle will play Marienne. A “smart, no-nonsense librarian who doesn’t let much get by her”. Despite being observant of her neighbor’s behavior, she struggles to make a better life for her child and herself.
McManus will recur as Natalie – Joe’s neighbor as well as his new target. Natalie is married to a “powerful man” and is very successful in both a professional and social capacity. Natalie lives a secret life that Joe is desperate to uncover.
Chan-Kent will play Kiki. She’s a “devoted member of Sherry’s cliquish ‘mean girl’ friend group”. Kiki is married and is a mother, as well as a life coach.
Mehl will play Dante, a librarian. Dante is a veteran who has damaged eyesight. He’s also a “dedicated family man with a husband and two stepchildren”.
O’Shea will play Andrew. A stay-at-home dad.
Sean will play Brandon, Kiki’s husband who is a stay-at-home dad after striking it rich as a tech investor in his mid-twenties.
Safi will play Jackson – Andrew’s “wry husband”. They have a loving marriage and remains humble.
Astin plays Gil. A “mild-mannered geology professor is thoughtful, friendly, and genuinely good-hearted if a bit vanilla and naive.”
Zurer plays a couple’s therapist named Dr. Chandra.
Fisher will play a Young Joe Goldberg in flashbacks.
