This is a big one. We have stars Andrew Lincoln and Lauren Cohan leaving, the big bad The Whisperers being introduced, and Jon Bernthal coming back as Shane. Yep, I have to throw that one in, because I’m that excited. In anticipation for the premiere, a new video has been released, essentially reflecting on Rick’s time in the series, as well as giving us subtle clues as to what we can expect in the upcoming season.
The teaser is titled “New Beginning”, we see a new, bearded Rick who is looking a little too happy for a man about to leave the show. There’s a lot of speculation surrounding how they are planning on writing off the character. Nicknamed “Rick’s final episodes”, who knows if the character will be killed off or will leave on his own fruition. Either way, at one point in the video, we see Rick holding his side and others running towards him, leaving us all to wonder why? Rick has built quite the journey for everyone, so how will his end?
