Ahsoka is one of Star Wars’ fans favorite characters – ever since her introduction in the animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars. When Rosario Dawson played the character in an episode of The Mandalorian’s second season, fans knew they needed more. Which, was why people were really excited when Disney announced a spin-off series centering around Dawson as Ahsoka.
The Illuminerdi has reported on new casting news for Ahsoka. According to the outlet, the series is looking to cast a lead character named Riz – a man in his 20s to be another lead character. The Illuminerdi describes Riz as a “lone wolf, world-wise despite his young age and able to handle anything life throws his way.”
DanielRPK has also reported that the new series will feature Thrawn and Ezra – characters from the popular animated series. In addition, it has been reported that Hayden Christensen will reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader in Ahsoka.
There’s still a lot we don’t know about the upcoming Ahsoka series, but it seems things are coming together. Are you looking forward to Ahsoka?
