In the first season, the three solve their first mystery, which is the murder of a character Tim Kono. And with the first season ending with the three accused of a heinous crime, fans wonder what the second season could entail. Due to the Illuminerdi, we have some casting news for season two that may give some insight on what to expect in the next chapter of the Hulu special.
New Characters
Only Murders in The Building is looking to cast a character named Lucy – the daughter of an ex-girlfriend of Charles. Lucy is a 16-year-old girl who is described as a “sharp and inquisitive teenager”. Lucy won’t be the little girl Charles remembers, but she could possibly be the key to solving the current case the trip is on.
In addition, the Hulu show wants to cast a character named Nina Kim, who is described as an “Asian or South Asian woman in her 30s”. Nina is “gorgeous, affluent, very pregnant, and powerful”. Nina will use Bunny’s absence as an opportunity to become the new Board President of the Arconia. This determination makes her the prime suspect in season two.
The third character the show is looking to cast is a character named Alice – a British woman in her 30s. She’s “sophisticated” and an “astute artist”. She’s connected to the art world in New York City and has been since she was a young woman. Alice has founded the third Arm Gallery and Collective.
