We have details now on Dan Trachtenberg’s upcoming Predator film. This title will be a continuation of the franchise after Shane Black’s 2018 The Predator. Trachtenberg’s film will be based off a script written by Patrick Aison. Aison’s resume includes Jack Ryan and Kingdom. The movie will follow a Comanche woman who looks to “defy her culture’s norms” and “become a warrior”.
Murphy’s Multiverse has details on the star of the movie. The name of the main character is Kee – which means “no”. The film is looking for a 15-year-old actress for this role. The other character they’re looking for is the brother – an 18-year-old named Taabe. Which, means the sun. According to the source, Kee is a:
“Truth-teller who sees what others don’t, as she guides her brother, who is expected to become Chief one day. After a successful hunt, he believes he has come of age and no longer requires his sister’s help, which creates a rift between them. She decides to set out and prove that she is just as capable as the others. She aims to defy the rules set by the masculine world of the Comanche.”
The film is being produced under the working title Skulls. As we get more information we will let you know. What do you think about Skulls?
