We’re now finding out that The Walt Disney Company had its Annual Shareholder Meeting a little earlier today and apparently, footage of the highly-anticipated upcoming Avengers: Endgame was shown. We are unsure if it’s a trailer or actual scenes from the movie shown, we’re learning from ComicBook.com what the footage actually pertained.
According to CB, we see in the footage that the Avengers are at the official Avengers compound, WITH Captain Marvel there. Can I cue squealing? We did believe that Captain Marvel was most likely the one edited out of the trailer seen during the Superbowl for Endgame, but I digress. Nebula mentions to the gang that she believes Thanos would have gone to his “garden” after having completed his mission, which, if I’m correct, is something he does in the comics?
The footage then shows Captain Marvel speaking to the group and explaining how they must find the garden and use the stones to undo what Thanos has done. We then see Rocket, Thor, Nebula, Captain America, War Machine, and Black Widow in space, with Rocket asking: “Who has never been in space before? Raise your hand.” Which, is just the kind of comment we’d expect him to make – after all, he is a Guardian of the Galaxy.
From what we hear, there is a lot going on in this movie and it doesn’t surprise me that the rumors are saying that Endgame will be around three hours long. They all have a huge mission ahead of them. For those reading this, they also may think that it’s odd that Nebula is among the group, but not Tony. Considering we saw the two working together in space, did Nebula shoot off before him? So where’s Tony? Or Ant-Man and Bruce Banner, for that matter?
