From their early days with Nightmare on Elm Street until today with their Conjuring franchise and their upcoming follow up to Stephen King’s It reboot, New Line is keeping the horror fans in mind. One of their more successful series in the early 2000’s were their Final Destination films. In preparation for the sixth installment of the popular series, New Line has brought on board the writing duo of Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan who were responsible for writing four of the popular Saw films. By bringing on these horror writing veterans, New Line is perhaps demonstrating their commitment to the Final Destination franchise and their desire to reboot the story to go along with their other horror films.
With five Final Destination films already circulated, do you feel the need for a sixth one or has that storyline reached its “final destination?” Give us your views here at GVNation.
