With all the excitement of the live action Mortal Kombat film garnering most of the attention, that is not the only Mortal Kombat project in the news. The new Mortal Kombat animated movie now has a release window, an official logo, and a official title: Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge.
The feature is set to be released in early 2020, but other than that the details have been sketchy. Warner Bros. hasn’t even released a clip from the upcoming film as of yet. We do know that Joel McHale (Community) will voice Johnny Cage; Jennifer Carpenter (Dexter) is Sonya Blade. The rest is open to speculation at this point.
