No matter what your opinion is on the upcoming Joker movie, you have to admit that Joaquin Phoenix is a dedicated actor. In every project he’s been in, he’s submerged himself in every character he’s played and has shown dedication to getting every detail right. So, while the Joker solo movie may have had a shakeup lately with the Alec Baldwin news, Phoenix will no doubt put everything he can in his role.

In a recent photo, we see a significantly thinner Phoenix. The Joker has never been a bulky man, so it would make sense that Joaquin would slim down to give us more of a gauntly look. As much as it seems that people love to criticize this upcoming project, I believe that Phoenix will surprise all of us and deliver a spectacular performance.
The solo Joker movie will be released October 4, 2019.
