Fans online have been losing it as promotional images for The Batman have leaked and made their way to social media. The images in question appear to be from a calendar that will be released later this year. We get new looks at Robert Pattinson’s Batman and Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle. The images also show a closer look at Paul Dano’s Riddler and this image seems to have some fans scratching their heads.
In the photo which can be seen in the gallery below, Dano’s look appears to be inspired by the Zodiac killer. I think he has more of a Hush vibe going on – minus the bandages. Matt Reeves has said Batman will not be in his first year but Selina Kyle and Riddler will not be the fully formed villains we know from the comics just yet.
The images also show looks at the Batmobile and more detail to Batman’s suit. We also get some catchphrases we might hear in the movie such as “I am the shadows”. Absent from these images are Jeffrey Wright’s Commissioner Gordon and Colin Farrell’s Oswald Cobblepot aka The Penguin.
