[vc_row][vc_column][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/ekmxlQEVxa4″ el_width=”90″ align=”center”][vc_column_text]The closer we get to the release of Paramount’s Transformers spin-off Bumblebee, the studio has released a new trailer that includes new footage. (Shown above).

Here was the synopsis released by the studio:

On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie, on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.

In addition to Bumblebee, the spinoff will also include the Generation 1 version of Optimus Prime and several of their robotic adversaries, the Decepticons. Bumblebee opens in theaters on December 21st.

If Bumblebee is as successful as Paramount hopes, it will be the first step in the expansion of the Transformers franchise.
