Henry Cavill is so much more than just Superman (who we love him as), for example; he’s a serial killer hunter in Night Hunter. In the new exclusive trailer, we see Cavill as police detective Marshall. He teams up with Sir Ben Kingsley’s local vigilante Cooper to arrest a serial killer (Simon) who is targeting women. Not everything is as it seems with Alexandra Daddario’s Rachel questioning Simon – discovering that he is targeting women and that it is aimed at the police who are investigating the case.
One of the chilling lines is Rachel telling Simon that this is not a game, to which he responds:
“It is and you can never get away.”
Night Hunter also stars Minka Kelly, Stanley Tucci, Nathan Fillion, Brendan Fletcher, and Emma Tremblay. The movie will premiere on DIRECTV on August 8th and hits theaters and On Demand on September 6th.
