Nintendo officially confirmed earlier today and a new report from GamesRadar has dropped some huge news regarding the release date, price and more.
The new Switch Lite will carry a price tag of $200 and it will play all of the existing games for the regular Switch. The only downfall is the new Lite version cannot be docked and connected to the TV. The new Lite will be a handheld game player only.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”26051″ img_size=”650×538″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Nintendo report the release date for the Lite will be September 20 of this year, just in time for Christmas. There will be a special Pokémon Sword and Shield version called Zacian and Zamazenta.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”26053″ img_size=”650×766″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]The colors for the Lite will be in yellow, turquoise and grey. No red system will be available at this time.
The system will carry 32GB of storage and a MicroSD card slot will be present. Nintendo says the processor is allows for 20-30% more battery life. There will be no kickstand and the system does not support wireless or bluetooth connections.
Nintendo revealed that some games will have restrictions on the new device.
