Online Patent Suggest That PS1/PS2/PS3 Could Be Compatible Via the Cloud

Could a Sony patent suggest that PS1, PS2, and PS3 games could be compatible by using the cloud?

A tweet surfaced from user Renka_schedule. Translated into English, there is a part that reads “a large number of game titles across PS1/PS2/PS3 and various generations of game console can be stored and used via the cloud gaming library.”

Another part reads:

“These games can be run on a virtual machine that mimics the operating system associated with each game console.”

Here is the image. Whether or not this has actually been accomplished or even ties to the PlayStation Now system remains to be seen. This could overcome the need to build a backward compatibility technology. Keep in mind, this is all speculation. But, Renka_schedule later went on to tweet again. Informing us that users will be able to record, as well as create mini-games from their gameplay. Then they will be able to share it via the cloud. Could it be associated with the new DualSense controller’s Create button?

What do you think about this information?
