Pablo Schreiber and Eric Bana Set to Lead Netflix’s Jupiter’s Legacy

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”11426″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]We recently (today) gave you details about Mark Millar’s upcoming projects that are being produced and published by Netflix. In the wake of Netflix’s Marvel shows being canceled, it seems that the streaming service is shifting its focus on the Millarworld projects it just acquired. One of them is Jupiter’s Legacy, which will be an 8 episode series, each episode an hour; that will feature the offspring of super-powered people, who previously were spoiled little brats, who due to a villainous force will have to work together in order to save the world. Millar commented on the project’s progress:

“That’s rattling along just now. All the scripts are coming in for the TV show, start the casting. So we’re getting going on that. Most likely it will be the first [Millarworld property released on Netflix], but no official dates announced yet. But we know internally, and we’re planning with that.”

The show is expected to start production around April of 2019 and is looking at Pablo Schreiber and Eric Bana, who will play brothers in the first generation super-powered people. I always wanted Schreiber to appear within the Marvel Netflix universe, but having him in the Millarworld is just as good. As Walter and Sheldon Sampson, who are known as The Utopian and Brainwave; they are the siblings who founded the Union of Justice. The 8 episodes will follow the brothers in past and present day, as well as Sheldon’s wife Grace aka Lady Liberty and their son Brandon (Paragon) and the daughter Chloe, who happens to be a supermodel. According to The Hashtag show, the list of actresses being considered for Grace consists of Morena Baccarin and Carrie Coon.

No release date has been announced just yet, but we will keep you updated as we know more![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
