Nothing is gone for too long, though; as it seems that Paramount is ready to revive the franchise with a fourth Jackass movie. The film will hit theaters on March 5, 2021, though it’s not revealed who will return.
Jackass was created by Johnny Knoxville, Spike Jonze, and Jeff Tremaine. Many of the members of this prank series have gone off to get sober and unfortunately, members have been lost along the way. Jackass featured pranks that ranged from getting kicked in the genitals, to drink horse sperm. Is this kind of humor welcomed today? It feels like a flashback to the days of Viva La Bam, Borat, and Punk’d.
