Gamers, PlayStation just announced the first major PlayStation 5 system software update. This will happen tomorrow and will provide users the ability to store their PS5 games on an USB extended storage. Also, there will be “improvements to the social features”.

“Because PS5 games are designed to take advantage of the console’s ultra high-speed SSD, PS5 titles can’t be played from USB extended storage,” the official blog post about the new system software update reads in part. ” – According to the official PS5 press release.
