Possible New Villain Added to ‘The Punisher’ Season 2

When it comes to anything pertaining to Netflix’s The Punisher, I am at full attention and ready to speculate. Despite enjoying all the other Marvel shows, the one centering around Frank Castle still remains as my favorite. While we have already seen the second seasons of Luke Cage and Jessica Jones, Iron Fist releasing in a few months, and Daredevil season three rumored to release later this year, this leaves us with the likelihood that we won’t see the second season for everyone’s favorite anti-hero until early 2019.

In the meantime, we have our theories and behind the scene shots. Recently, the Punisher was filming in Albany and by now we all must have seen the footage of now scarred up Billy Russo. It’s entirely possible we may be getting another villain for Frank Castle to contend with in the second season, according to actor Robbie DeRaffele’s Instagram.

According to DeRaffele’s IMDB, he has indeed been cast in the show as a character named “Vor”. Considering the fact that the man is 6’7”, it’s rumored that maybe he will play some sort of variation of the Russian. The Russian is a well-known enemy of Frank Castle’s in the comics, known for his strength and imposing stature. In the 2004 film The Punisher, he is portrayed by Kevin Nash.

If it has anything to do with the Punisher, I’ll have news on it. Right now, it’s all speculations and rumors, but it’ll be interesting to see Castle contend with someone like Robbie DeRaffele.
