PS Plus Games and Best Deals for Feburay 2020

Its that time again folks! Another month is here and along with it comes some brand new PS Plus games. In a surprising switch up to PS Plus February is bringing along not two but three games. Well technically we’ve got a whopping six games up for grabs this month but I’m getting ahead of myself. The first two offerings are fairly standard, but still brilliant titles. The third and final game is a PSVR offering, something many PSVR owners have wanted for a long time now. Like always all of February’s PS Plus offerings can be downloaded on the first Tuesday of the month, the 4th. Right, are you ready to take a dive into this month’s PS Plus games?

PS Plus for February 2020

Bioshock: The Collection

First up this month we have the utterly outstanding, Bioshock: The Collection which is actually three games in one. Would you kindly Start off with the original Bioshock? A game that sent players diving down into the underwater city of Rapture. Plus, to this day it still holds the title of biggest twist in all of gaming. General Shepard, eat your heart out. Bioshock 2, switches up the original’s gameplay mechanics, whilst still telling a gripping and surprisingly dark story through the now flooded streets of Rapture. Bioshock Infinite, the third and final Bioshock title takes players to a much nicer looking city in the sky. Columbia. A patriotic place that holds danger round every corner. When it comes to combining solid first-person shooting mechanics with some light RPG elements, no one does it better than Bioshock.

Also, the games have updated visuals and sound design and guess what? All singleplayer DLC for each game is thrown in for free as well. Now, would you kindly check out Bioshock: The Collection come February 4th? Okay. I’ll stop now.

Bioshock: The Collection holds a very respectable Metacritic score of 84 and a user score of 8.4. Click below to watch the trailer.

Sims 4

 sims 4

The second game up this month is undoubtedly one of the most infamous game series of all time. To celebrate the original Sims release 20 years ago, PS Plus subscribers can get there hands on The Sims 4. Sims is a life simulator. Giving players the chance to create their own digital avatars and live their perfect life. Or, ruin the lives of these poor digital characters after your house burns down due to a barbeque that got a little too out of hand. Nevertheless, The Sims 4 is still a great game to jump into and joke around with to see what mischief you can cause.

The Sims 4 has a Metacritic score of 66 and a user score of only 3.8. Many poor reviews state that the games control system feels lackluster and the games DLC is way overpriced. It should be noted unlike Bioshock you won’t be getting any DLC with The Sims 4. Check out the trailer below.

Firewall Zero Hour

Finally, for February, we have our first PSVR game for PS Plus. This is without a doubt one of my favorite VR games and one I just can’t seem to put down. Firewall Zero Hour is a 4 vs 4 tactical VR first-person shooter. Think of Rainbow Six Siege but in VR. One team is defending a laptop, whilst the other is trying to hack into it. The game does offer a singleplayer experience but is built for online play. Surround yourself with a team you can trust as communication is key.

It’s worth noting that whilst you can play Firewall with a good old DualShock 4, you cannot use the PS Move Controllers. The game is, however, built for the PSVR Aim Controller to be used and, works brilliantly with it. Firewall Zero Hour has a Metacritic score of 79 and a user score of 8.3. Watch the trailer below.
