Quibi Looks to Launch With a Star-Studded Lineup

With April 6 nearly a month away, Quibi, the new U.S.-based short-form mobile streaming service is gearing up for its big debut. Quibi, short for “quick bites,” is planning to deliver quality content designed to please the Millennial palette. Stories will be told in mini-episodes (or “chapters,” as Quibi likes to call it) of 10 minutes or less.

Today Quibi announced the 50 new shows they will be launching with on April 6th. Those interested in getting their binge on can opt for the $4.99/mo. plan to use the platform with advertisements or $7.99/mo. for uninterrupted, ad-free streaming.

The new platform has already garnered over $1 billion in investments and secured the support of Hollywood big-wigs like Zac Efron, Jennifer Lopez, Steven Spielberg, and Guillermo Del Toro. Kudos, Quibi.

Here are a few highlights to amp up your excitement, as well as the full list of shows that will be available on Quibi starting April 6th.
