Not only is Ridley Scott working on two live-action projects, but it seems there is an animated Alien series in the works. This series supposedly will be rated-R and based off of the video game Alien: Isolation. From what we’re hearing, the animated series will have seven episodes and be produced by Axis Animation. The company has previously worked on the trailers for Aliens: Colonial Marines “Contact” and Alien: Isolation “Improvise”.
Observer has stated that the animated series can come as soon as April and may run on the official Alien website, although nothing is official. Would you be excited for an animated series based off this cult favorite and the fact that it would be rated R? Let us know!
