Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced that director Rian Johnson’s sci-fi favorite Looper will be available to own for the first time on 4K UHD Blu-Ray with immersive Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision on February 15, 2022. The film stars Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, Noah Segan, Piper Perabo, Garret Dillahunt and Jeff Daniels. This new release has been supervised and approved by Johnson and Director of Photography Steve Yedlin and includes all of the legacy special features of the previous release. Get the details below!
Synopsis: In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past where a “looper” – a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good…until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination.
