Rob Zombie Reveals ‘3 From Hell’ Teaser Trailer

It’s been over a decade since The Devil’s Rejects debuted in theaters and became one of my all-time favorite films. However, the sequel to House of 1000 Corpses didn’t gain a cult following until it was released on DVD. Shortly after, fans craved more of the sadistic trio of Baby Firefly, Otis, and Captain Spaulding. On Monday, June 10th writer and director of both films, Rob Zombie via his Instagram revealed a teaser trailer for ‘3 From Hell’. It is the next installment in the horror franchise, making it a trilogy.

Rumors swirled last January that the film was in production. Zombie later confirmed the rumors himself via social media a few months later. While The Lords of Salem director is being very secretive about what exactly the movie is about, all we can do is theorize. We do know The Rejects went out guns blazing and seemingly died in the 2005 film. Therefore, your guess is as good as mine as to what the premise will be.

In an interview with Loudwire last summer Rob Zombie spoke a little about the upcoming film:

“It’s nothing [like] what people seem to think, which is always fun to read, because everybody’s like, ‘Oh, I know what this is. It’s exactly this.’ And they’re always wrong, which is great.”

Also adding:

“I’ll just say it’s not a prequel. I’m making this movie 15 years after the last movie, so my cast is aging the wrong direction and I certainly didn’t replace them with other actors. The one thing I will say is that when we got together — because my biggest fear of making this movie was the actors won’t have the vibe they had — it was almost spooky how much [they vibed.] It didn’t seem like it was 15 years later, it seemed like it was six months later.”

The movie is set to have a September 2019 release date and needless to say I’m excited. The horror genre has missed Zombie’s presence. We will keep you updated.

Cast includes Sheri Moon Zombie, Sid Haig, Bill Moseley, Danny Trejo, Clint Howard, Emilio Rivera, Dee Wallace, and others,
