Robert De Niro and Shia LaBeouf to Play Ex-Cons/Father and Son in Upcoming ‘After Exile’ Movie

Robert De Niro and Shia LaBeouf will play father and son in this upcoming movie. LaBeouf will play an ex-con who was sent to jail for killing an innocent man after a violent robbery. Now released, he will team up with his father in order to prevent his younger brother from going down the wrong path. De Niro will also play an ex-con who is suffering from alcoholism and extreme guilt.

Joshua Michael Stern will be the director and Pacific Shore Films will finance the film.

You can see De Niro in the upcoming Martin Scorsese film The Irishman, as well as The Joker movie. LaBeouf is both in the Peanut Butter Falcon, as well as the autobiographical drama Honey Boy.
