Robert Downey Jr. Stated He Wants Ironheart in the MCU

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Tony Stark’s mentorship relationship with Peter Parker is one of the most wholesome aspects in the third phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But, Iron Man could have been mentoring another youngin in the MCU, according to a script that was released on the Black List. This site, which is known for hosting scripts on unmade films; imagined Tony Stark mentoring a Riri Williams aka Iron Heart. This was released last summer and fans hoped this meant we’d get the character in the fourth phase of the MCU. Tony Stark was killed in the events of Avengers: Endgame, which makes this idea a little complicated.

Either way, Robert Downey Jr. himself reportedly wants Riri to be featured in the MCU. Eve Ewing currently writes for Ironheart and shared the tweet below.

This gala event was at the Gene Siskel Film Center, where the writer claims Downey gave his endorsement for Riri’s inclusion in the MCU. Even though Tony Stark is (unfortunately) dead in the MCU, that doesn’t mean we couldn’t get Ironheart another way.

Would you like to see Riri make her way tot he MCU? Let us know!
