[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”3536″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Ron Cephas Jones played one of the most humble, grounded characters on Luke Cage as Bobby Fish. We were all sad to see his character go in the second season, but now it seems that Jones will remain within the Marvel realm. Cast in an unknown role, he will be in this year’s Venom movie. Starring Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, this is Sony’s start to a Spider-Man universe, though;…with no Spider-Man for now.
In case you didn’t know, Jones was actually set to play the wizard in DC’s upcoming film Shazam, but had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts. Djimon Hounsou has since taken his place. It is unclear what Jones will play, but it’ll be good for fans of his to see him on the big screen after leaving Luke Cage; though we don’t know if he will return in season three, as his character was going to see his sick, estranged daughter for an organ transplant.
Ron Cephas Jones is best known for his role in the hit series This Is Us, where he earned two Emmy nominations.
