Netflix is diving into the world of MMA with a massive card streaming on May 16th headlined by Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano. The fights set up by MVP Promotions promise to be one of the biggest sporting events of the year. It isn’t just the return of the two MMA icons, but a host of other premier fighters set to hit the cage. With the fights on the horizon, we have the entire card to share with you.
This isn’t Netflix’s first dive into the world of comebacks, as we saw Mike Tyson come out of retirement to fight Jake Paul. There is also the rumored Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao fight set to take place later this year. Rousey and Carano are the main event where we can expect electricity, but ten other fights are happening that night.
Where can you watch the fight?
You can watch the entire Rousey/Carano fight card broadcast live on Netflix. This is the first-ever live MMA fight to air on the streaming platform. The preliminary card begins at 6 PM EST with the main card starting at 9 PM EST.
Who else is on the Rousey vs. Carano card?
Outside the big main event, former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou is set to take on former UFC contender Philipe Lins. Ngannou was once (and still is) one of the most feared fighters in the world. One of the all-time great fighters, Nate Diaz, returns to the cage to take on fellow former UFC fighter Mike Perry.
