With the giant push the CW is giving Batwoman, one of the things Ruby Rose was looking forward to was meeting the fans and promoting her new show. Unfortunately, the creation of said show has just got in the way of her appearing at the SDCC. She announced it on her instagram account.
I will, unfortunately, not be able to make it to Comic-Con this year, and it is devastating, Just know that we tried everything that we could humanly to be there. It wasn’t until really now that we realized there wasn’t any other way to finish this ambitious episode we are doing and create this amazing show that really really is special. And we want you to love it and be proud of it and be entertained, and to laugh and to cry and to be empowered. And that means that in this particular instance, I’ve got to work and bring Kate Kane and Batwoman to the screen and not Ruby to a panel.
She concluded by telling her fans she would make it up to them somewhere down the line. Although if they turn out a great show, fans will find it in their hearts to get over this. Do you feel Ruby made the right decision? Share your thoughts on the matter with GeekVibesNation.
