We’re running this as a rumor, but FandomWire has reported that Doctor Doom will supposedly make his debut in the upcoming sequel to Black Panther. Which, is surprising considering Doctor Doom typically is associated with the Fantastic Four.
According to the rumor, we will be seeing Doctor Doom as Doctor Doom – not Victor. Of course, this being the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Doom will eventually meet up with the Fantastic Four. But, his MCU debut will be in Black Panther 2. And the MCU will set the villain up as the big baddie – Thanos level.
In the comics Doomwar (2010) was a storyline which saw Doctor Doom trying to overthrow the Royal family of Wakanda. Could Marvel be adapting the Doomwar storyline for Black Panther 2? Namor has been another rumored Marvel character that might show up in the film but lots might have changed after the sudden death of Chadwick Boseman.
