RUMOR: Lady Gaga to Play Ursula in ‘The Little Mermaid’

With notable roles such as in American Horror Story and A Star is Born, it’s now a possibility that she could be playing one of the most well-known Disney villains.

This is just a rumor, but it seems that Lady Gaga is on the list for potentially portraying Ursula in the live adaptation of The Little Mermaid. It was also rumored that Zendaya would play Ariel, but neither are confirmed right now. With Disney making a slew of live-action versions of classic cartoon movies from our childhoods, The Little Mermaid is just the latest beloved film to get on the list.

Alan Menken and Lin-Manuel Miranda will be composing the music for the movie, which will feature new, original songs.
