Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD has recently just ended its seven-season run. Despite it having been a TV show, people were hoping to see characters from the series in the actual Marvel Cinematic Universe. Especially since Clark Gregg reprised his role as Phil Coulson from the movie-verse in the series.
Now, though; it seems that there are rumors that at least one actress will not be reprising her SHIELDS role in the bigger MCU. FandomWire has revealed that Mockingbird will be in the upcoming Disney+ series, but the character won’t be played by Adrianne Palicki. The news outlet has revealed that Marvel Studios will recast the part.
Palicki left Agents of SHIELD around season three. Why Marvel is looking to recast, it isn’t made clear. Whether or not this means Marvel doesn’t have a desire to use the TV actors. Or perhaps the actress wouldn’t want to come back to the Marvel universe.
