Rumor: Tom Cruise Possibly Making a Cameo in Netflix’s Red Notice

Netflix’s upcoming film Red Notice stars Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds. While this is already a huge star-studded film in on itself, the Illuminerdi is saying that Tom Cruise could be a new addition for the movie, which is written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber.

Red Notice is an international crime film that focuses on Johnson’s character, who chases after an art thief. Said thief has a Red Notice put out on them by Interpol. Meaning an international hunt. Johnson will play “the world’s greatest tracker”. Gadot’s character is described as “the world’s greatest art thief”. And Reynold’s character is “the world’s greatest con man”.

So, who will Cruise play? According to Illuminerdi, it’s a cameo. Which, makes sense because Red Notice seemingly has a Mission Impossible feel – a franchise Cruise is known for. It should be said that if Cruise isn’t able to make a cameo in the movie, then a star of his status will be brought in. So far, though; the film is looking to hook in Cruise.

While Red Notice was meant to come out this year in November, things obviously changed due to the COVID-19 breakout. Now, Netflix has acquired the film and it’s set to come out on the streaming service sometime in 2021. Would you like to see Cruise join this impressive action-packed cast?
