Ryan Reynolds Isn’t Sure When Deadpool 3 Will Happen

While it’s unlikely that we’ll ever see any of the Fox Marvel actors cross over to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, one actor is the exception. Who could ever get rid of Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool? The hilarious actor has brought so much popularity to the Merc with the Mouth that it almost seems obvious that Disney would want him included in their world even after the Disney/Fox merger. There just needs to be some kinks ironed out considering Deadpool is known for being very rated-R. And Disney hasn’t put out an R-rated MCU film.

Reynolds also spoke recently how he is unsure of when Deadpool 3 will happen:

“Oh, man, I really don’t know. It’s just all so new with it being over at Marvel now, and, you know, figuring out the ins and outs as much as I can, from where I sit. We’ll see.”

Reynolds then also touched upon going from being an “outsider” (Deadpool literally has teased the MCU in both of his solo films) to being an “insider”:

“I don’t feel like an insider at all. I think once I’m more intimate with it – if we get to make a Deadpool 3… if or when we get to make a Deadpool 3, I’ll probably have a better perspective on that. But I’m a huge fan of Marvel, and how they make movies. So when Disney bought Fox, I only saw that as a good thing. Deadpool hopefully being allowed to play in that sandbox, I think is just a win for everyone involved. But we’ll certainly see.”

Hopefully, we’ll hear news of Deadpool 3 soon.
