Ryan Reynolds is a busy man and on top of his already busy schedule, the Deadpool 2 star will be starring in an upcoming comedy called Free Guy, about a man who realizes that he is a character in a video game. Throughout the course of the film, Reynolds will be fighting rigorously to ensure his game does not get canceled, because it would mean the end of his life as he knows it.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will be written by Matt Lierberman and both Reynolds and Shawn Levy will be co-directing. This film is actually incredibly relevant to recent news, where we found out that Telltale Games is closing its doors. Even though the movie’s script began in 2016, it will touch upon issues and pop culture events from today.
