Scream Factory is bringing the copyright-trouncing horror tale Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey to Blu-Ray on April 9, 2024. Written and directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield, the first film in the Twisted Childhood Universe (TCU) serves as a horror reimagining of A. A. Milne and E. H. Shepard’s Winnie-the-Pooh books. It stars Craig David Dowsett as the titular character, and Chris Cordell as Piglet, with Amber Doig-Thorne, Nikolai Leon, Maria Taylor, Natasha Rose Mills, and Danielle Ronald in supporting roles. Bonus features include the original trailer and “Something’s Wrong With Piglet” – Making Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood And Honey. Get more details below!

Synopsis: Five years ago, Christopher Robin abandoned his childhood companions, Winnie-The-Pooh and Piglet, and the woods in which they all played. Now an adult, Christopher has returned, with his fiancée Maria in tow, for a reunion with his old friends … only to find that in his absence, Pooh and Piglet have turned feral, silent … and murderous. What was once a joyous place of imagination and merriment becomes a violent battleground for survival in this audacious and terrifying spin on A.A. Milne’s beloved children’s stories.

    Special Features

    • “Something’s Wrong With Piglet” – Making Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey
    • Original Theatrical Trailer

Blu-ray cover of a horror-themed 'winnie-the-pooh: blood and honey' movie, parodying the classic character as a menacing figure with an axe in a spooky forest.
