Sebastian Stan Credits Press Tours With Anthony Mackie As the Cause for Disney+ Series

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”21231″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]In Captain America: Civil War, we got to see how Captain America’s two besties interacted with each other and the result was hilarious. Memes were inspired by Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes’ scenes together, fans teasing about the two either fighting for Steve Rogers’ affection or for the honor of being the next Captain America. Luckily, fans will get to see the two together more in their new show on Disney+, which actor Sebastian Stan talked about while on the Jimmy Fallon show. He explained that in part, it was the press tours that Stan and Anthony Mackie did together that inspired the need for a series together.

“That’s the word, yeah,” Stan confirmed. “It only took about four press tours for somebody to get the idea that these two lunatics should have a show ya know. The rumors are…the rumors are true.”

Stan then commented on what it’s like working with Mackie:

“No they are,” Stan said. “I love him because it’s really hard. Like I always quote Apollo 13 every time I’m with him because it’s like, really working with him is really like riding a psychotic horse in a blazing stable. Like that’s what it is like just hang on and usually if you look at my expressions like… just get a word in now.”
