During the recent press conference we attended for She-Hulk Attorney at Law, the cast was asked a question by the modertator, Amanda Salas (KTTV Good Day LA) that I feel is important for those wanting to get into the industry.

I want to ask all of you ladies, when you first got the call that you were going to be a part of this amazing project, what was your first reaction?  What did you do to celebrate?

Jessica Gao’s answer was nothing but awe-inspiring talking about how she got rejected three times but never gave up on her dream for working at Marvel and Disney.

This is what Jessica Gao had to say

For me, I mean, I was elated ‘cause it was a dream job.  But also, I’d been rejected by Marvel three times on previous projects.  So, I was like, “I guess fourth time is the charm.”  It worked.

I also love the way Jessica Gao was confident in getting the She-Hulk project.

According to Ginger Gonzaga (Who plays Nikki)

But you are perfect for She Hulk because Jessica pitched herself by being like, “I know more about She Hulk than anyone,” which is the facts.  And so, the universe waited for the one that was right for you.
