Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that the Academy Award-winning drama The Father from director Florian Zeller will debut on Blu-Ray and DVD on May 18, 2021. The film is currently available on Digital. The film stars Anthony Hopkins, Olivia Colman, Mark Gatiss, Imogen Poots, Rufus Sewell and Olivia Williams. It was nominated for six Academy Awards with wins in Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Actor for Anthony Hopkins.
Synopsis: A man (Anthony Hopkins) refuses all assistance from his daughter (Olivia Colman) as he ages. As he tries to make sense of his changing circumstances, he begins to doubt his loved ones, his own mind and even the fabric of his reality.
