Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced that the beloved family favorite Matilda will be available to own for the first time on 4K UHD Blu-Ray on September 5, 2023 in a special Limited Edition SteelBook. The film stars Danny DeVito, Rhea Perlman, Embeth Davidtz, and Mara Wilson. The new 4K disc has been remastered in 4K resolution from the Original Camera Negative and is presented with Dolby Vision and includes all-new Dolby Atmos audio as well as the original 5.1 audio.
