If you have watched Game of Thrones over the years, you’ll have seen almost every character at one time or another armor up for battle. That includes Arya, Podrick, Tyrion, and even Cersei has worn vestiges of armor with her fancy shoulder , chain combo she donned to enjoy her wildfire detonation of The Sept of Baelor.
Now for the final season of Game of Thrones, it looks like Sansa Stark will finally get the chance to sport some armor as befitting the Lady of Winterfell. Sophie Turner discussed her character’s new wardrobe with Entertainment Weekly.
This is the first time I’ve had armor. I wanted her to have a bit of armor and be a bit more warrior like. She’s like the warrior of Winterfell.
Of course, because Sansa still knows her way around fashion ( just remember her stylish Stark wolf inspired ensemble), she doesn’t wear the heavier style armor that Jaime or Brienne might sport. It is reported (no picture has been posted) as a darker colored leather based protective armor that is in step with her title as a Lady and a Warrior.
