Space Force could be getting a second season. At least that is what showrunner Greg Daniels hopes:
“We’re certainly hoping for a few more seasons, and we have started to assemble the senior writers to discuss what would happen next year. We don’t have the pickup yet, but yeah. There’s a lot to follow up on based on where we ended.”
Space Force just premiered on Netflix. The has an all-star cast of Steve Carrell (who created the comedy series) and John Malkovich, Ben Schwartz, Lisa Kudrow, and Jane Lynch.
Season one ended on a cliffhanger, so of course, fans will want to know what happens next. There isn’t an official renewal order yet, but if all goes well, Daniels will have an opportunity to continue that tale.
