Fans of the character have always been very vocal about who they would like to see. Some guy whose name rhymes with Raven. Apparently Spider-Man: Far from Home Director Jon Watts is in agreement with the fans. He recently teased as much in an interview with Uproxx.
Oh, I would love Kraven. It’s just the trick of how do you do Kraven in a movie?
Of course, with recent events in Far from Home, it would easily lend to a storyline that could introduce the “Hunter.” While there has been mention of perhaps bringing back villains from then previous Spider-Man films, i.e. Green Goblin or Doc Ock, Watts would prefer someone new.
I mean, yeah, I always just try to start with what haven’t we seen before? And there’s so many Spider-Man villains. The fact that I got to, in a way, bring Hydro-Man and Molten Man to a movie, really, I get a kick out of that, even if they are fake. But, no, I don’t know who’s next. I always like to think about it in terms of what’s going to be the most difficult thing for Peter. So that’s going to be the next trick.
