Spider-Man: Far From Home Synopsis Revealed

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”11571″ img_size=”950×631″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Last week was a fantastic one. Not only did we get a Captain Marvel trailer, but we got our first glimpse at the upcoming Avengers 4 movie, as well as the revelation of the title: Avengers: Endgame. The only thing missing was a trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home, which we were supposed to reportedly get, but was pulled due to the need for editing – considering the spoilers it would have revealed. If you all remember, Peter Parker went to the valley beyond in Avengers: Infinity War. Despite Tom Holland’s Spidey not showing up in Endgame’s trailer, he must be alive for his Homecoming sequel. Right?

According to a Russian press site, a synopsis for Spider-Man: Far From home, has been revealed:

“Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and his friends go on summer holidays to Europe. However, the friends will hardly be able to rest — Peter will have to agree to help Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) uncover the mystery of creatures that cause natural disasters and destruction throughout the continent.”

In a trailer released exclusively at Brazil’s CCXP, fans saw a super-spy sedating Parker’s bff, Ned, while recruiting Parker to help battle against the Elemental creatures that composed of sand, water, and fire. Unfortunately, Spidey left his Spider-Man suit at home. According to sources, Parker has to team up with Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio, who is backed by Nick Fury to halt these creatures, and who is apparently a “superhero” [Mysterio]. As we probably know, in the comics, Mysterio is a villain, so we’ll see how this “brothers-in-arms” (according to Holland) turns out.

“There are these threats to the world, the Elementals, elemental creatures. And Mysterio is someone who knows about them and wants to make sure that the world is safe from them,” Gyllenhaal revealed at CCXP, “And Nick Fury asks him to come on and help because he’s the only one who really understands them. And then he teams up with the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man and unfortunately has to make him become more than a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.”

According to the description of the trailer, the element-inspired creatures will pay homage to characters such as Sandman, Hydro-Man, and Molten Man, who were all reported to be in the film.

“We debuted the new Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer just for you guys exclusively, because sometimes we just want to show our support, and you guys have been so amazing to us ever since I got this job,” Holland addressed the fans at CCXP.

Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters July 5, 2019.
