[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”11840″ img_size=”900×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]With Sony’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse being as successful and popular as it is, it’s only natural that it’d spawn not only a sequel, but a spin-off. Spider-Women will be one of those spin-offs and on top of including Ghost Spider, Jessica Drew’s Spider-Woman and Cindy Moon’s Silk will also be brought into the universe. In the comics, Silk is the second person bitten by the same radioactive spider that bit Peter Parker, who was then kept in a facility by Ezekiel to protect her from Morlun. Peter Parker then frees her.
Despite this backstory, Jessica Drew has been around longer. Her powers are thanks to an infusion between an experimental serum her dad gave her, while also undergoing a procedure to slow her aging, which ended up giving her other abilities as well as the ability to give off pheromones that please men and have the opposite effect on women.
