In the category of things Star Trek fans didn’t know they needed, Wines That Rock, the company behind Star Trek Wines, recently announced the introduction of Klingon Bloodwine to their growing stable of Star Trek based wines.
As fans of Star Trek know, Bloodwine is the preferred drink of Klingon Warriors (except for a certain Klingon’s love of Prune Juice). It is usually kept in large cauldrons so Warriors can dip their cups in and drink their fill. No worry about germ sharing with the Klingons. What’s it going to do? Ruin their teeth?
As for the Star Trek wine, it is a 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon with all deep red color that is the earmark of the Klingon’s signature drink. The Bloodwine will be in addition to a United Federation of Planets Special Reserve 2019 Sauvignon Blanc. These newly added wines, along with the Chateau Picard Cru Bourgeois and Special Reserve United Federation of Planets Old Vine Zinfandel, are available exclusively at StarTrekWines.com.
