Ahead of the next installment of Star Wars, Episode IX; Jason Ward of Making Star Wars shared some verified news about what we can expect.
In the previous movie, fans will remember that Kylo Ren destroyed his helmet out of a fit of rage due to being humiliated and degraded by Snoke. Now that Ren is the Supreme Leader, will we be seeing his helmet yet again? According to Ward, sources confirm that we will be seeing a version of his helmet that will derive inspiration from Kylo Ren, Darth Vader, and a little bit of Darth Maul due to some of the red in his helmet.
In the most important of news (simply because I love everything and anything pertaining to BB-8), we’re learning that the adorable little droid will be getting a sidekick in Episode IX. The little sidekick will be named D.O. and apparently, he views BB-8 as a parent, considering he’s being described as an “ugly duckling”. D.O. may also be referred to as Dio, referencing the 80s rock band led by the late Ronnie James Dio.
These are just little tidbits of information, so let us know what you think! Episode IX will premiere December 20, 2019.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
